CERT IN THE COMMUNITY

Over the course of a year, WCSO CERT is known to participate in different events and details held all throughout the Truckee Meadows. In 2019, CERT had over 432 details that members participated in. WCSO CERT also held the first ever full scale exercise known as the EPIC Spring Exercise. Under the EPIC Exercise, you can see a small sample of the detail. The Media Team is feverishly working on adding pictures to the website to help show you how CERT is involved in the community. Many of the these details allow CERT members to practice many of the skills learned in the Academy and keeps these skills sharp just in case CERT gets deployed to an emergency.
