We are glad you are interested in taking the CERT Academy. The Academy is offered four times year which is held at the Regional Public Safety Training Center (RPSTC) which is located at 5190 Spectrum Blvd. To get to the RPSTC, proceed to Parr/Dandini Blvd and head east towards Sun Valley. At the round about you will take the exit headed towards the north, the RPSTC is just beyond the SPCA facility, at the top of the hill. Once inside the training center, check the monitor for the room assignment.

The first academy for 2023 is scheduled for January 19th through 21 and 26 though the 28th.

Thursday and Friday, the Academy is held from 6 pm until 9 pm and on Saturdays the Academy is held from 8 am until 4 pm.

Make sure that you have completed the Basic Training application form and have submitted it to Joe at JOlaciregui@washoecounty.gov
