We are glad you are interested in taking the CERT Academy. The Academy is offered four times year which are held at the Regional Public Safety Training Center (RPSTC) which is located at 5190 Spectrum Blvd.

The next academy is scheduled for January 19-21st and 26-28th.

Thursday and Friday, the Academy is held from 6 pm until 9 pm and on Saturdays the Academy is held from 8 am until 4 pm.

Make sure that you have completed the Basic Training application form and submit it to Joe at JOlaciregui@washoecounty.gov 

 

New CERT volunteers are invited to the new volunteer orientation generally held two weeks after graduation from the academy. Click HERE to download the new volunteer application (background check). Bring this completed application with you to orientation.
